Stacy Makhnevich is talented and imaginative opera singer and a classically trained musician who is driven by an incredible passion for self-expression through art.
In live performance and on numerous recordings, Ms. Makhnevich’s portrayals of opera’s most iconic heroines demonstrate a remarkable range and artistic sensibility. Her interpretations span from Mozart operas,, Puccini (from La bohème to Turandot), Verdi (from La traviata to Aida to Macbeth), Tchaikovksy (from Iolanta to Eugene Onegin), Wagner’s Lohengrin to much more.
Ms. Makhnevich has been invited to sing principal and comprimario roles with many professional opera companies and performed on the same stage as Ralph Tudisco, Ludmila Fesenko, David Gvinianidze and many more prominent opera singers.
Ms. Makhnevich was trained by Chloe Owen, Loretta Di Franco and John Fiorito, both prominent Metropolitan Opera Singers. Ms. Makhnevich took numerous master classes in Juilliard School in order to establish a solid technique and manage and maximize acoustics and anatomy to make the most efficient and productive sound.
Although Ms. Makhnevich loves to express her vision through art of classical singing, she is also adept at creating opera scenes and readily communicates the vision of her clientele. Her vocal studio accepts students of all ages.
